The numbers in the washing tubs indicate the highest permissible washing temperature. They must not be exceeded. E-programmes, Economy programmes and Half Load programmes are included in the normal machine wash programmes.

A hand-wash means a short wash in lukewarm to warm water with no soaking. If the washing symbols indicate that an article can be washed, we recommend using a liquid detergent for delicate fabrics.

Do not use a fabric softener or a detergent containing a fabric softener!

Anti Wrinkle Programmes

For items which contain synthetic fibres a/o. which are made from wrinkle proof fabric, you must load the machine with half of the maximum weight
Hand Wash only in lukewarm or warm water
Wool wash only according to the wool wash programmes and load with 1/3 or 1/4 of the maximum weight

Do not bleach!

Cold bleach with chlorine bleach.
A diluted solution of concentrated chlorine is permitted.

Special Cleaning!

Can be cleaned with Perchlorethylene

Can be cleaned with R113 and Hydrocarbon solutions.


For items with P or F in the circle, stains cannot usually be removed with Tetrachlorethylene a/o. Trichloroethylene
